Ich hatte eine Tangle-Freundin in ihrem Ferienhaus in Dänemark besucht. Natürlich haben wir auch fleißig getangelt. Bettina war das Logo aufgefallen und so schlug sie vor, wir könnten doch mal versuchen, etwas "daraus zu machen".
I visited a fellow Tangle enthusiast at her holiday home in Denmark. Naturally, we spent plenty of time tangling. Bettina had noticed the logo and suggested we try to "do something" with
it.
Das haben wir auch, aber erst zwei Jahre später habe ich schließlich ein Stepout entwickelt, dass ich euch hier vorstelln möchte.
We did just that, but it wasn't until two years later that I finally developed a step-out, which I’d like to share with you here.
Das Muster lässt sich sehr schön variieren, indem man nur die ersten Schritte zeichnet und dann andere Musterstückchen einsetzt.
Fragmente eignen sich dafür natürlich hervorragend.
Du kannst in allen Phasen des Musteraufbaus entscheiden, deinen Zeichenprozess einfach in eine andere Richtung fortzusetzen, wenn du eine Idee hast, die sich reizt.
The pattern can be beautifully varied by drawing only the initial steps and then incorporating other pattern elements.
Fragments are, of course, perfect for this.
At any stage of building the pattern, you can decide to simply continue your drawing process in a different direction if an idea appeals to you.
