... das sind Steingebilde, die von den Inuit seit Urzeiten als Landmarken und kulturelle Symbole errichtet wurden.
Erst vor einer Woche bin ich aus Vancouver zurückgekehrt. Dort gibt es ein großes Inukshuk Monument, das nur zehn Gehminuten von meinem Quartier entfernt war!

Less than a week ago I returned from a visit to Vancouver. The big Inukshuk Monument at English Bay was only a ten minutes walk away from my accommodation!
Dieser Zufall war mir Freude und Inspiration. Ich habe das Muster tupuk an der Stringlinie entlag gezeichnet und für den Hintergrund das Muster fasset sehr schlicht und regelmäßig getanglet, so dass das Ganze wie eine Steinkette auf einem Fliesenfußboden wirkt.
This coincidence was my joy and inspiration for this tile. I chose to tangle tupuk along the string and used a very simple and even version of fasset for the background.
So here's my STRING of tupuk on a floor of fasset TILEs. Very much Zentangle!
