TINT

TINT ist entstanden, während ich im April 2017 in Providence beim CZT-Seminar war. Aber eigentlich reicht die Geschichte schon weiter zurück, nämlich nach England im Sommer 2016 ...

I created TINT while attending the CZT seminar in April 2017. But actually the story goes back even further, namely to England in summer 2016 ...



Im Sommer 2016 habe ich drei Wochen in Englad und Wales verbracht. Dort bin ich den Wye Valley Walk gewandert. Dieser Fernwanderweg folgt dem Fluss Wye im Grenzgebiet von England und Wales von der Mündung fast bis zur Quelle, insgesamt über eine Strecke von 218 km.

Meine erste Station war der kleine Ort Tintern mit der Klosterruine Tintern Abbey.

Und von Tintern Abbey kommt der Name TINT!

In the summer of 2016 I spent three weeks in England and Wales walking the Wye Valley Walk. Over a distance of 136 miles this long distance path follows the river Wye from the estuary to the headwaters.

My first overnight stop was in the small village of Tintern near Tintern Abbey.

And that's where the name TINT derives from!




Im Frühstücksraum meines Quartiers war ein Stuhl mit einem geschnitzten Muster. Dieses Muster hatte ich fast ein Jahr später immer noch im Sinn. und habe es dann in Providence endlich dekonstruiert:

In the breakfastroom of my accomodation there was a chair. On the chair there was a carved pattern which I still had on my mind almost a year later. I finally deconstructed the pattern and here comes TINT:


Hier habe ich ein einfaches Packpapier mit TINT verziert und ein Geschenk damit hübsch verpackt.

Here I tangled TINT on a simple craft paper and used this to wrap a gift.
